Went up there last week to get some tires put on the skidsteer. Got up there when they opened. Had several tractor trailers ahead of me. The boss man ended up fitting me in, within fifteen minutes, outside. It was quite blustery, but his guys came right on out and fixed me up. It was a lot going on up there. A line of trucks out the gate all day.

I had 3 J.D. mower tires I needed mounted. It was quite the experience to attempt it myself. I managed to get one of the front smaller tires finished but took way too long and way too much effort. Enter Colony Tire. I spoke with Eric who not only said they could do it (all other tire shops turned me down) but gave me a reasonable price. I brought them in and thanks to the tremendous physical struggle by the tire installer, I had all 3 mounted and ready to go. If that weren't enough, the price was even less than I was quoted. I couldn't let a good deed go unrewarded and gave the guys a nice tip! Great work guys...thank you!!!!

All was good at colony tire and service on Monday March 13 2023, the mechanic forgot to put my vale stim cap back on it was chrome with a green 🔝 top other than that all was good.

I was Refered from another mechanic that I usually go to, was to busy to perform an inspection. Went in to Colony tires and service around 8:30am with a packed waiting room. They said it may take an hour. (I thought it would be longer) they had me out of there at 9:05. I'll Definitely be going back. Great service and very personable.

I had an issue with the electrical system of the trailer, the checked and gave me an estimate of 1200 the had to probably open the axels and check all the wiring, they found no issues on the brake magnets, so they were very honest, realised the problem wasnt there, they did not opened the axels and came to the conclusion the problem was in the cable that attaches to the truck, changed it and everything's fine now! And the they charged me almost 900. Thanks for your honesty and good work! God bless

Got 4 new tires for my truck with excellent service, very prompt with my appointment time—will purchase tires here again.

We were treated fairly, and the wait was not very long.

Another satisfying trip to Colony Tire, they diagnosed my AC issues on my 11 year old Silverado and fixed it, they have done all the maintenance on this truck since I bought it new and just went over 210,000 thousand miles. Stuff breaks and goes bad, I’m just glad Colony tire has been there for me. The staff is friendly and helpful. My go to place for tires and repairs, currently have 6 vehicles and 7 trailers that they handle the tires and repairs for. Always up front and they back what they do. Been my repair/tire shop for over 25 years. Another great visit with Colony tire in Greenville my wife took one of her cars in and had it serviced and we still won’t go anywhere else. I recently had a golf cart tire repaired with no issues. The staff is always friendly and easy to deal with.

Great service at Colony tire every time.

My wheel well retainer clip broke and the wheel well was rubbing on my tire. I pulled into a gas station and I, along with my son, were trying to figure out how to fix it when Joey with Colony Tire pulled over to where we were parked. He immediately got on the ground to inspect the tire and wheel well. Joey went into the gas station to see if they sold zip ties (they didn’t) and then he was able to pull a clip from the right side to secure the left side so I could get home. I offered to pay him and he said “no”. MY DEEPEST APPRECIATION to Joey for helping without being asked and refusing reimbursement. Stellar employee! Colony Tire must be lucky to have him.

I called at 4 on a Friday after waiting far too long to get my oil changed to see if they had any walk in availability. They checked and said to come on in. I was greeted in a timely manner and they quickly pulled my car back for an oil change and offered a tire rotation as well. I felt bad going in so close to closing but I was made to feel welcome. I was in and out of there in less than 45 minutes. They are top tier when it comes to customer service! Thank you!

Everything went well. Summer maintenance package and coolant flush. Discovered front brakes needed servicing. Appreciate the paper on the floor board to keep thing clean but please take it out when done.

Very unprofessional beware!
We brought our Peterbilt truck in for a steer tire and asked them to balance both steer tires we were charged for the service.
I asked the service guy doing the job if he did the steer tire balancing when I backed the truck out of the bay and he said yes. When I got back to the yard the lugs were full of mud on the left tire not replaced there’s no way he took the tire off our truck (mud lug pic included) so he just lied to my face and did not do the balancing of the steer tires very unprofessional we drive the highways everyday and need to be safe as possible colony tire has service guys just not caring about us truck drivers being safe and not doing there job to keep us safe! Come on colony tire you need to do better for us truck drivers!

What can I say about colony tire, they are the best at what they do .From customer service to the techs that do the work . I'm a service manager for one of the largest crane company's around . We only us colony tire ,why because we don't have time for maybes or I will call you back and let you know and then never get the call back . With Colony you get an answer right way , if they say I will call you back don't worry they will . Just this week they have installed larger tire on one of are cranes at a job site ,and then came to are rescue on the side of the highway with a blown out tire on a over sized load trailer.

Customer service is great. Felt like my truck was about to fall apart but now it drives like new. The mechanics definitely know what they are doing and the prices are very reasonable.

We’ve used this shop a few times now and they never disappoint. Recently, we had a flat on the road and their mobile service was incredible—had us back up and running within an hour. The office staff is always friendly and easy to work with, couldn’t ask for a better team!

Always take our car and pickup truck there for inspections and car, pickup truck and 5 th wheel camper there for tires. Also your RAV 4. Always great service. This te when we got into our car we had to leave tge doors open to air out cigarette smoke smell. I have allergies and tge smoke is one big problem. But it comes with the shops almost everywhere. As long as the manchinac doesn't smoke in our car we can air it out.

Colony tire is always my first choice and they always help me I would recommend them to anyone they got my vote.

My first time at Colony was to get my annual car inspection. My car is ten years old but well-maintained with low miles. They were great. Staff is friendly and competent. It was completed in two hours, $20 total. No hidden issues that I have to pay to have done to pass the inspection. I'm sold! I'll never go anywhere else.

The service is always good and I tend to ask questions since I really don’t know a lot about vehicles. Taylor is so helpful in helping me understand what I need to know to make an informed decision. Will also. Their prices seem reasonable and the work seems to always be expeditiously done.

I am new to Summerville. I googled where to take my Honda for a nail in my tire and it took me here, not knowing they work on commercial trucks. They were so nice and plugged my tire anyway and did not charge me. I highly recommend this place!! 5 stars!!!

Been bringing my car here for the last few years. I always had a good experience. Prices are competitive, service is professional, and I've never been asked if I wanted to spend $120 to change my cabin air filter. (the cabin air filter is a $30 part that takes about 10 minutes to change.)

My daughter goes to college in Lynchburg and I'm 600 miles away. I trust these folks will take CARE OF her and not ADVANTAGE of her. So far they've been great. Only thing is they consistently forget to do the reset on her oil change mileage indicator.

The guys at Colony were great. My Ford Expedition had 22” factory wheels on it and I wanted to switch out to 18” wheels. I ordered Method Wheels direct and ordered Toyo tire through Colony. They did a great job helping me figure out what size tires I needed to keep the same ride height. I will definitely return when I need tire rotations and other tire needs.
It was nice having a company that cares for their customers. It is hard to find that these days.

I am beyond grateful for Mike and his team of technicians! My truck busted a ball joint and I took it to the Powers-Swain dealership first in hopes of my warranty covering it. Powers-Swain was ABSOLUTELY NO HELP whatsoever and for an unnecessary week, treated my vehicle poorly! I contacted Colony Tire since they've been helpful before and confirmed they could do the required repairs. They DIDN'T DISAPPOINT and the price was LESS than I thought. That in itself, will keep me going back! I'm over the moon to have my truck again and riding just as smooth as the day I bought it new! Took my wife’s Jeep here because the check engine light was on and the guy that changes her oil said it would be $2500 to fix the problem. Turns out it was just the thermostat that was bad and these guys got it done for WAY less than $2500!!! The staff were very friendly and helpful. Dropped it off Thursday just before lunch so the work could be done on Friday. Got a call around 3 stating her jeep was done!! Excellent service!! I won’t take our vehicles anywhere else!! Thanks Robbie for a job well done and for being honest about what was really wrong with my wife’s jeep!!

Got the oil changed, a/c repaired, brake light repaired, and check engine light repaired all in less than two days. I thought it would have been a week! Way to work effectively and efficiently!!

I highly recommend this establishment. 3 separate times I have had sudden problems with my vehicle. The AC quit, Tire issues and then rear brake caliper and pads. Each time I was given fast service, very decent prices and quality work. Tim Brandt is a Good Manager who goes out of His way to lesson the pain of auto repairs as much as possible. You don't find that in many people these day's.

Colony tire and service is the best commercial tire shop ever . I have a Kia Sorento and they still were able to service me in my time of need. I was stuck and had no where to turn so I came to the nearest tire shop and was greeted with great customer service and a smile . The lady’s in the office ( Shannon & Desiree ) and their wonderful helper Mr. Guy , treated me very well. They went out of their way to find a tire for my vehicle even though they only service commercial vehicles. Mr. Guy went to the nearest warehouse and picked up a tire just for me and installed it within 30 min , Words can’t explain how much I appreciated them today. I will recommend them to everyone i know that’s looking for commercial tires . They are awesome.

Quick and efficient

I brought car in to have an inspection and was told I need wipers. I had wipers at home, they said bring it back at 4 and they would put the wipers on for me. Brought it back at 4 and told me the inspection was completed but they didn't replace my wipers til I pointed it out. So my question is, how is it, It did not pass inspection at 7:30 in the morning, but did pass inspection at 4 with the same wipers? They did take the car back and put the wipers on thank you for that.

Driver. Great place for drop/hook. I pulled in 13 hours before appointed time, but checked in on time. I was told they open up at 3:30am. One shower-restroom combo available for drivers that overnight or getting loaded/unloaded. Plenty of parking for overnight drivers. Check in next door to shower/restroom.

I also dropped my trailer to PC for food down the road, 17 minutes round trip back to the shipper.

Update had a problem with tire sensors that were purchased from there 6 months ago they are going to honor their warranty I'm glad they stepped up to the plate :::::Got to be the worst customer service i have ever gotton from there. When Tanya left from the Elizabeth City store .. Was the worst mistake Colony could have ever done..You did not call and you did not leave a voicemail.. And whoever says they did are lieing. All you had to do was admit fault. But obviously with the reply i just got you are going to work around and try to make it sound like you had no fault here. Sad ......

A gentleman getting gas saw me trying to air up my tire at the gas station across the way and came over and offered to help. He discovered I had a huge hole in my tire. He said he worked over at Colony and offered to take it over to the shop and throw a temporary tire on it for me so I could make it home. Faith in humanity restored.

We are so beyond thankful for Colony Tire! We were 4 hours in to a 6 hour trip for a short family vacation when our vehicle had a catastrophic breakdown. We were just a couple miles away from Colony but it was already after 4pm and they were closing at 5. Eric told us to come on in and he would do all he could to get us back on track and he did! Intended to call the Lexington location(which is a satellite yard) at 8 in the morning and got transferred to Charlotte. Got the payment arrangement worked out with George I believe,and by 10 Jacob was on site in Thomasville and had four tires on in about an hour. Thanks gentlemen!

They perform state inspections on large vehicles requiring a tall service bay. Nearby places such as Firestone, Tire Choice, Beach Diesel Repair, and Sonny Merryman don't provide this service.

Wanted to send a quick note to say what a pleasure it was to deal with Colony Tires in Richmond, VA. Was traveling with our 31 foot mobile showroom from out of town for business and found that my valve stem was leaking on one of the tires in the back. It has dual tires so I was able to limp it in to the shop first thing in the morning before I had appointments later that morning. Did not have an appointment and just showed up hoping they could squeeze me in. Not only did they squeeze me in but had me in and out in no time and fixed the valve leak without having to replace the tire and did it at a very, very reasonable price. Thanks Paul for getting me in line so quickly for the service and a special shout out to Ty who worked on the vehicle. Both were very nice guys, very personable and professional and had me back on the road in time so that I did not have to cancel or postpone any of my appointments. Appreciate your help guys. On July 1, I was driving my daughter up from Charlotte, NC to Lynchburg, VA for a college visit at Liberty University. Unfortunately, as we pulled into Lynchburg I noticed I was losing air in my right, rear tire. I pulled over and saw the tire losing pressure quickly.

I searched my phone for a local tire service and saw the Colony was six minutes away. When I pulled up, the tire was completely flat. I walked in spoke with Glenn and explained that we had a 2PM tour (it was already 1PM) and asked if it was possible that anyone could check the tire and possibly replace if needed.

Glenn was so accommodating and walked back into the garage came out after a few minutes and said they could take a look at it. The tire had a 1-inch slash and could not be fixed so they drove to their local warehouse and picked up a replacement tire.

In the meantime, Liberty University sent a shuttle to pick us up and while we were on the tour Glenn updated me on the repair and knowing we would be returning after they closed, had my car waiting out in the lot at 5:30. I can’t say enough for how grateful we were to find such great customer service during a stressful situation 3.5 hours away from home.

Sent my sales rep Josh A. in Norfolk a text at 5:30 this morning 5-24-2024. A friend of mine was stuck overnight with a bad tire in fishersville, Va. The company I work for back in Chesapeake has a commercial account Josh set up for us. Told him I needed a Toyo RT 35 12.50 R20. Josh got in contact with the manager of Harrisonburg 25 miles from where my buddy was. He was able to get it plugged and it would hold air long enough to make the short drive to Harrisonburg. Got there right as the branch was opening and had him fixed and back on the road by 9:00am to head back to the hotel and grab his family to continue up to snowshoe for family vacation. It means a lot that a company and a sales rep will go to such lengths just for a single tire. Thanks Josh, and colony tire of Harrisonburg.

In April 2024, I visited Colony Tires for an inspection and received a rejection sticker, because my tire was worn and needed to be replaced. Not only was my tire worn, it was the incorrect size. I realized then that I have been driving with the wrong size tire for an entire year. Rob advised me to take my vehicle back to the place I purchased the tire from. I took his advice and it was replaced free of charge. After tire was replaced, I returned to Colony Tires for an inspection sticker. All staff at Colony Tires provide all-around great service, but Rob was very helpful. I would recommend Colony Tires to others.

I would like to Praise Jimmy Reese for his Quick Thinking, Over&Beyond Heroics on Saturday May 4. Jimmy was on location at 110 Daugthrige Dr, Greenville, NC when a criminal tried to burn my Motorhome that was being serviced by his location. You see, this person lit a coat on fire and placed it under my motor home, with Jimmy's quick thinking he ran into the store and grabbed a fire extinguisher and ran back out to put the fire out. He threw the coat that was on fire away from the motor home as well as the gas can. While putting the fire out he was also on the phone calling 911. He then went back in side the store to get another fire extinguisher the criminal put the burning coat and also wood back under the motorhome and before Jimmy could return lit the fire again. So Jimmy ran back out with a 2nd extinguisher and put the fire out for a 2nd time. All the while the criminal decided to do donuts in his truck in the street next to the motor home and close enough that he could have injured Jimmy. After his donuts criminal left, and the police and fire department showed up. While Jimmy was decussing the incident with police, the criminal rob the Exxon im front of Colony Tire of beer then road back by Jimmy, and Police. Jimmy identified the truck and the suspect. The Police persued the criminal and ended up in a 1 hour standoff because the criminal had a gun. For many Years I have myself and my businesses done business with Colony Tire for its excellent service. I have personally known Jimmy and called him a friend for years. But I have to say that NOT only is he an outstanding guy, But one, if not the best Employee's of Colony Tire and is Always thinking of the customer even when it is unexpected. Thank You!! Usually I go to the colony tire in williamston but today coming thru going to work. We just needed a new valve stem. Once a tech realized that’s what we needed he took the tire replace the valve stem right then and there and promptly returned it to us! (And I guess such a small repair he didn’t even charge us) we were just impressed!

I had not used their services before. Setting up an appointment was easy to do. I was able to drop off my car and pick it back up within an hour or so. I was a bit disappointed that their coupon was only for "regular" oil change service. Not many vehicles have that anymore. I was able to use their $5 coupon. Nice people and service.

Jerry and the crew were amazing! I was 2.5 hours away from home and ended up on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere with a flat tire and to my surprise, there wasn't a spare to be found at all! I started calling AAA and kept getting transferred to different branches as I nervously sat in my car with 18 wheelers flying by me at 80+ MPH. I felt like I wasn't getting anywhere with them so I finally decided to just call a local tire shop in hopes they could help with a quicker solution so I could make it home to my family in one piece. Luckily this was the first place I called and Jerry answered! Not only did he get me hooked up with a local tow service to his shop but he also called around everywhere to try and find a tire that would fit my vehicle when he realized they didn't have stock. The team wanted to help me get me home so they were kind enough to work my vehicle in alot faster than they would for routine service and I was back on the road in no time! To make things even better, I was surprised that the bill was less than $25 since they realized that they could actually patch the tire and not replace it, which would be probably 8x that price if not more! In this day and age, it's hard to find a service station with hard working, honest and empathetic staff so hopefully this helps makes your choice easier the next time you need service and your near Williamston.

I have never had any bad experiences in all the years I have been using them to service my vehicles.
